Child Abuse Provention Awareness Month!
The Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is proud to announce this year’s Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Event — “The Pinwheel Project.”
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we want to bring awareness to our community about resources, prevention strategies, and hope for children and families in Audrain County. We can stop child abuse!
Bring your kids to make a pinwheel and see our pinwheel display at the Audrain County Courthouse.
We will have 50-60 sack meals made up for the children generously donated by Dagwood Jr. of Mexico, games provided by ACCIS, cookies provided by the Audrain County Juvenile Office, drinks provided by the Audrain County Clerk’s Office, and the coloring sheets and pinwheels to be put together are provided by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
There will also be resources provided by The Arthur Center, FCI (Fostering Care Improvement), CMCA (Central Missouri Community Action), and Children’s Division. We are grateful to our partners B.A.C.A. for their commitment to our youth and agreeing to attend our event.
All are welcome – join us as we seek justice for children and families in our area, and have some fun, too!
